Since our founding in 2001, Murton has grown from a small educational and environmental charity into a vital community asset for Angus and beyond. Our nature reserve, open free to the public year-round, has become a sanctuary for wildlife and a hub for learning, wellbeing, and community engagement.
Over the years, Murton has delivered life-changing educational programmes for young people, provided volunteering opportunities for adults, and championed mental health and employability initiatives. We are more than a destination—we are a family, a resource, and a force for good in our community.
